Upcoming Board elections

Vice-President: The Vice-President supports the President in their activities. The time as Vice-President serves as a training ground for learning the tasks and responsibilities of the President. As a result, the two positions are intended to work in close collaboration. The Vice-President serves for two years leading directly to the President for another two years, and to Past-President for a final two years.

Communications Director: The Communications Director is responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing the communication channels of the IMS to ensure accurate, inclusive, and objective dissemination of information related to mycorrhizal science and society activities. The Communications Director serves for four years.

Please send your photo and a short text (about 300 words) describing your career highlights and the reasons why you are running for one or the other office by June 1, 2026 to Jan Jansa jansa@biomed.cas.cz. Thereafter, your details including the photo will be posted on the IMS website along with the details of other candidates. The IMS members will select their preferred candidate by a poll during the next ICOM. The results of the election will be announced during the IMS annual meeting following up the ICOM.
