PROPOSED INTINERARY FOR ICOM 10

ICOM 10 (www.icom10.org) will be organized in Mérida, Mexico by the International Mycorrhiza Society and the Mexican Mycorrhizal Symbiosis Society from June 30 to July 5, 2019. ICOM 10

SUNDAY –  OPENING KEYNOTE:

Julia Carabias Lillo (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM)

  • Ecologist previously with the Mexican government as Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources
  • Currrently engaged in numerous activities, organizations and international programs with sustainability goals

Proposed Topics covered during the week:

Monday Evolution and signaling

Tuesday Developments in physiology and ecology related to sustainability

Wednesday Free day to enjoy excursions, field trips, or a relaxing break

Thursday Mycorrhizas in a changing climate

Friday New technologies and innovation in the study of mycorrhizal symbioses

During the week, keynote lectures by:

Annegret Kohler (France),

María José Pozo (Spain),

Jan Jansa (Czech Rep.),

Mathias Rillig (Germany),

Helena Kahiluoto (Finland) and

Richard Phillips (USA).
