Dear IMS Member

Every two years, the IMS board  and executive must be elected. The Vice-President elected in the previous term, becomes President. Every term a new Vice-President must be elected, along with any new Directors. This term we will have THREE new Directors.

Professor John Klironomos, Dept. of Biology, UBCO Okanagan, Canada will become President of the IMS for 2019-2021 after the IMS AGM in Merida, July 5th, 2019 at 16:30 pm CDT (Merida Time)

Professor GUO Liang Dong of the Chinese Society of Mycology, Beijing, China will be an IMS Director as host/organizer for the ICOM11 in 2021.

Nominations were collected by the IMS Nomination Committee earlier this year and candidates put forward their CV’s for review.

As an IMS member you may elect ONE Vice-President and THREE Directors.

Voting will occur via online polling  through your IMS membership account.

When you login to your account, you will see Special Announcements and have access to the Election pages.

You will see the Election announcement and the instructions on when and how to vote.

Right NOW, you may select the Voting Check Mark images to access the poll and review the candidate information. You will notice the polls are time stamped with the date they will open.

POLLS will open during ICOM10 from Monday July 1, 2019, 12:00 to Thursday July 4, 2019, 17:00 Merida time (Greenwich minus 6 h).

New IMS board of directors will be announced on Friday July 5, 2019, at the IMS annual meeting at 16:30 Merida time and on the IMS website.
